Are your quotes free?
An estimated quote is free.

However, a charge is applied if a site visit is required by one of our Engineers to assess the work required to be able to provide an accurate quote.

What are your timings to attend for Call Outs?
We aim to attend as promptly as possible usually within 48 hrs, but depending on the urgency of the request to make safe this would be within 24 hours

Do you attend emergency call outs?
Yes, we do offer a 24/7 Reactive Call Out service  

Should any replacement parts be required to complete the repair after our Engineer’s assessment, we would provide a quote for your approval to proceed, before carrying out any subsequent work.

Is there an extra charge for out of hours work?
Yes, any time outside of our usual working hours, 9am -5pm, will be charged at an out of hours rate.

How often should automatic doors be serviced and do you offer maintenance contracts?
It’s recommended that servicing should take place at least once a year, or as per manufacturer recommendation.

Yes, we do offer maintenance contracts for regular servicing to meet individual customer needs.

Would I be able to Automate a Manual door?
Yes, this is possible, but it does depend if the existing door that needs to be automated, complies with current safety standards for the required upgrade.

What type of doors can you install?
We do not provide new installations, but can offer replacement equipment to repair.

What types of doors do you maintain?
Most types of Commercial doors, such as Automatic Swing and Sliding Doors, Manual & Fire Doors.

(Please note we do not offer a maintenance programme for large Industrial doors and Shutters)

Do you provide Disabled Access to a property?
We do not provide new Disabled Access doors, but do offer repair and maintenance services for any existing doors used for Disabled Access.

How quickly will the job be carried out when the quote has been approved?
Depending on the job required, we may need to wait on the delivery of replacement parts.  

On average a small repair we would aim to complete within 1-2 weeks.

A larger repair (E.g., where a new Compressor may be required is in the region of 6-8 weeks)

Are your Engineers certified?
Our Engineers hold as a minimum CSCS cards and are trained on latest Health & Safety Standards. They are qualified to repair doors manufactured by Macwood, Record, Dorma, Tormax and Besam.

Do you have Liability Insurance?
Yes, we hold Full Public & Employee Liability Insurance to the value of £10,000,000.

Do you use subcontractors?
Yes, we do use subcontractors, but are all vetted before being able to work on behalf of West Country Doors London Limited.

Are any warranties offered by West Country Doors?
Yes, a 3-month warranty is available on all new parts.

What are your payment terms?
30 days on receipt of invoice
